The United Stated Navy has developed away to launch drones from submarines underwater. The XFC drone was launched from tube from a submarine and assembles its wings mid air. Being powered by a fuel cell the XFC flew for 7 hours straight. The XFC fits into a special launch system called the Sea Robin. The Sea Robin in turn fits into a torpedo tube. Using an electric launch system the Sea Robin launches the XFC drone.
